Hello all

Came across this site for the first time this morning while doing a google search on comet Kushida. I image from light polluted London suburbs with dslr (40D) and mono ccd cameras with narrowband filters. A variety of scopes including Takahashis and a meade 12" sct all at various times of the year sitting atop an ap1200 mount. I currently also post on UKAIF, PopAstro, S&N and Canon users yahoo group.

rgds to all

Malcolm

Hi Malcolm, and welcome to the board!

Where in London are you? I lived in Wimbledon for 18 years before I came to NI and remember the sky as being orange with a few bright stars in it! So I'm quite amazed to see your excellent shot of Comet Lullin!

Cheers!

Paul.

Yep, I’m imaging from 1 mile outside Wimbledon town centre in SW19 and the sky IS orange - the wonders of filters!

Welcome to the forum Malcolm! It's great to have a comet photographer from London on here, especially someone as skilled as you. Great image of Kushida by the way and an impressive first post. Hope you enjoy yourself here.
