Fantastic images Paul. Gorgeous colours and a different perspective on things. Nice updraught towers on the horizon in the first image. Brilliant sunset too.

Great images Paul. I especially like the last one, not knowing the area, but it may be traffic on a highway. Shows up very well.

Well caught Paul. Is that Venus in the 4th one down & left of centre near the top? Sounds good offering you a choice of seat - s'long as it isn't the pilot's seat, of course!

Oh, I don't know .... the way aircraft operate these days, the pilot doesn't have much to do except program the filght into the computers, and grab control if something goes wrong. There's a saying (going as far back as the 1970s) that the ideal flight crew is one man and a dog - the dog to stop the man fiddling with the controls, and the man to feed the dog.

Quite right Jonathan - the Ards Peninsula it is. Unfortunately at this point the seat belt light went on which means that electrical equipment has to be turned off. Not wishing to crash the plane I stopped taking pictures and missed great views of Bangor, Holywood and Belfast in the dusk which looked pretty spectacular.
