It took me 2hrs 15mins to go the 25 miles from Larne to Forestside this morning - usually 45mins. I had a passenger and as always a camera in the car, so I got her to grab a few snaps along the way!

Joining the M2 at Sandiknowes


On the M2 dropping down into Belfast


Of course our continental European and North American correspondents will see much worse, but we're never prepared here!

Those really capture the atmosphere. Sounds like you had an annoying morning waiting on the traffic. At least your safe though. The snow falling over the distant hills in the 2nd image looks like a white-out!
