Wonderful shots,Richard. I love the openness too. We should be living near that kind of environment rather than where we are on an estate .Ugh.
Subway-when I'm on Tour I always get toasted tuna/mayonnaise 6 " roll -love it. I tried the 12" one evening about 1030pm and it was too much too late so I stick to the 6 ". It was in Denver 2008 when I first had it and the guy in the diner asked me if I wanted fries with it..fries with everything - I'm expecting one day to be asked if I want fries with ice cream Lol.

Many thanks,Anton, much appreciated. Yes, it did take a while to process them all. It is hard getting the exposure right against a bright sky but I've dug around and asked a few questions of 'those who know' and post photos to die for lol..and spot metering will also help as well as metering on grass but also and crucially, I was told that often a lot of photoshop time goes into them and one person who produced a superb F-16 photo had spent 8 hours 15 minutes processing it and another is noted for coming close to HDR on them or doing HDR on them but that's being more like a software technician than a photographer. I'll find another air show to go to and plod on. Thanks again.

Many thanks both. That will be great Richard,10 bases-wow. No doubt the kind of stuff we have here at Mildenhall and Lakenheath- They're RAF bases but used by USAF. I tried some exposure increase after seeing yours and noise and colouring began to show on the underside , I used Viveza2 - that will do small areas. I'm reading up on getting it right in the first place as I take the photos - ie. metering.

I think some of these could have done with more exposure to lighten the underside of the planes- not that easy against a bright sky-all about correct metering I'm told. Any advice here would be welcome.
