Hi last night we were at a farm house ,under transparent skies. We could see the milky way in cassiopea and andromeda with naked eye. Iwas dissapointed with crab nebula and was faint on my lx 200 10 inch for some reason. http://tinyurl.com/a94nqo   is the link to rosette

Dear friends,
thanks a lot for looking and appreciating as it really helps to  do a better job here the skies are absolutely clear these days and hoping this would continue for more weekends, when we go out to shoot we always think of u people when a cool breeze hits us as tempeerature would fall to the mid 80 s and wonder what true dedication to astronomy might be when temperature goes close to freezing

Friends,

Here is Ring Nebula which I shot from a  farm house with approaching thunderstorm and lightning . We also stopped by  on the roadside to photograph mercury with the 10 inch.We saw clouds approaching us,accuweather predicted a thunderstorm. We went to the farm house set up scope and we were covered by black clouds. It cleared however and I was able to image ring nebula. Next I aimed my scope towards helix nebula but clouds came again, this time we packed up and on the return journey visibility due to rain was 10 feet for a few minutes.
