Martin congrats on that great account, read of the snow storm was such a treat for me in these boring weather times lol those drifts are really eye popping candy the patterns they make are fascinating to me if i say so myself. Got some a few days ago myself on the Wicklow Mtns was up at 480 m asl and there were lovely have photos on the IWN Network. By the way whay could'nt have they built the road around the Sperrins instead of cutting through the Pass they mus'nt have known what sort of weather you could experience up there ugh road authorities these days ??

Seems to have be rough in northern areas had blizzards down here but barely 2cm on grass this morning.
Read a Sky News article about the power cuts it mentioned The Glenshane Pass thats around you area is'nt it Martin, I mean obviously it is a higher elevated district is it?
I really do hope Martin that you do one of your great reports on this event, they are always great reads!
Lets hope for some thundery activity during the rest of the week.

cheers paul thanks a million ah sure id only want it for the east ya know.
Had a very violent downpour of hail earlier could'nt beleive it when it happened was quite frightening and was surprised i didnt get any thunder and lightning from it
