John, The fisheye really shows of the rainbow... 

Just got home from work and was sitting in the kicthen talking to the wife, I noticed the dog barking from a few doors up and went see what was up, I went to the bedroom and straight away an almighty flash happened.  Got the video with my Sony T50 & iphone, images with Nikon D300...  It was a good one...

Here are some of the shots I got between the Thunder & Lightning showers...  











I was preparing dinner and I had a look out the patio doors and notice the sky getting darker and as I looked up I saw the lightning flash across the sky and an almighty bang straight after it.  It only lasted 4 or 5mins and the sun was shining soon after, the hail was intense and lay on the ground for a few mins...  

Still have a wee video to process but that's not worth much  

Thunder & lightning with hail.. Lost power to house for a few seconds...  Got pics and short video, will post soon.  .  Happened around 18:30ish....
