I love em all John. Those are fantastic. That Robin would make a nice Crimbo card. The last three images are also stunning. Great photography!  :)

Thank you gents. The last bird is a Kookaburra. Not these, we had a day out yesterday at Paultons Park near Southampton. The Kookaburra was a captive, the others were flying around.

Ah..A kookaburra - definitely not in your garden then Lol.  I was so absorbed looking at it that I failed to see the wire mesh behind it. I see they're  from the kingfisher family and live in Australia and new Guinea.

Thanks Roman, not too many I think, probably only 10 to 15 species. Mainly garden varieties.

Hope you don't mind me borrowing your thread John. I found this image and thought I would share it.  A festive Robin I captured last Jan during a heavy snow fall. This was out in the country, the Robin let me get quite close to him.

Lovely work John - just seen this thread - I'm afraid I don't always get to look at everything time being as precious as it is! Martin, your Robin shot is a classic too!

Paul.

It's a wonderful photo. You should aim to make christmas cards with it for next year, Martin.
