Title: Toome Bridge Night Exposures
Post by: martinastro on June 20, 2011, 05:57:18 pm
A few images taken last week during the middle of the night of the famous Toome Bridge, Declan and I where in the area watching NLCs and after they vanished we spent the rest of the night shooting this bridge. The blue beam and vertical shadow was incredible, extending from near ground, across the zenith, and way behind us. It was fun catching the light trails from late night trucks and cars.

You're a night photography expert,Martin.

These are lovely photos and I find photo 4 the most balanced re. light and it's  easier on the eyes  too , probably for that reason.- Good reflection photo too.

I think these are amazing, what a great subject this is and the car trails and shadows coming off the bridge work so well, 3 and 4 do it for me. I bet you got some strange looks at the side of the road at that hour of the morning  :)

Night photography rocks Martin and you make it work so well, I too like taking night time images so appreciate how difficult it can be to obtain a perfect image and these pictures just prove how low light images can be so rewarding when done correctly.   :)

Thanks for the kind comments everyone, I was thinking light pillars and long shutter fog during the winter time, how cool would that be  :)
