Title: Broadway Tower with 10 Stop Filter
Post by: Anton on June 11, 2011, 07:32:38 pm
Went to Broadway Tower today which has great viewpoints for storm watching and at 1024 feet (312m) above sea level, it is the second highest point on the Cotswold escarpment. Unrivalled views survey an expanse of a 62 mile radius and as many as 16 Counties.

Taken at 18mm F/22 - ISO 100 - Exp 68 Sec - 10 Stop B&W Filter.

Those are brilliant images Anton!  I think i've seen this from the M5 before, but never actually been to it - looks a great place in an ven more fantastic location.  I will have to check it out I think!  8)

Thanks Mark, it is a great place for many photo opportunities well worth the visit. I have bookmarked this for a night shoot for star trails. Also found this chap roaming around the site.

Those are some great images Anton, beautiful location for both day and night shots. That ND Filter really does a fine job.

Thanks Richard, the ND filter is a fine addition to the kit bag so hoping to use it more than I should.

Brilliant,Anton. Now you have your own castle - not  quite as haunting as Martin's ..lol but a very good location. Now I'd get myself there for the stag.. I love that photo. I need to get to the coast to use that 10-stop too before our November Cornwall trip.
