Title: Sun 1st May at 3 Wavelengths
Post by: markt on May 02, 2011, 11:49:39 am
Pretty much as the title says, Hydrogen Alpha, CaK and white light.  Lots going on el-sol lately, so if you have the facility to view I would recommend it!

Interesting stuff Mark, this is some think I would like to do in the future, are there any filters I can use on my Skywatcher 150 allowing safe observing

Thanks

Excellent shots Mark. Unfortunately I'm not equipped to do something similar, myself but have enjoyed seeing some lovely footage by various amateurs, including some amazing short video footage of flare activity.

Absolutely stunning images Mark, you never disappoint when it comes to solar photography - outstanding selection and great to see the sun so active again on a regular basis  :)
