Title: Thursday's Sunset
Post by: JohnC on April 07, 2011, 11:50:33 pm
There's a Saharan dust cloud drifting up from the SW so I went out but there was a heavy bank of cloud to the west which spoilt  it some but this is  what I saw. What an unusual structure in photo 2. Photo 2 was obviously to the west and photo 1 to the NE. Both on manual focus f14.

Photo 2 is excellent John, very unusual effect to that contrail, almost looks like a nuclear bomb going off.

I have keeping an eye out for some vivid sunsets too John but the weather hasn't been too cooperative, great shots.

Thanks for comments. A contrail then,Matrin. It certainly is an unusual shape.
