Title: Gloucester Skies Pm today Post by: JohnC on February 14, 2011, 11:40:25 pm The first photo was taken from inside the car on the way home.I thought I'd get myself out for a run so went with my wife (who was on business there) to Moreton in Marsh.A lot of convection was developing as we drove back home so when we got home I took myself off up the hill at 3.0pm. Ran into a short-lived hail storm too.

I think our whole area looked like this yesterday aft. I was on the 4th floor at work around the time you took these pics and I have to say the cloud scape was pretty impressive. Title: Re: Gloucester Skies Pm today Post by: martinastro on February 15, 2011, 07:35:18 pm John, really impressive images, I love the quality to the hail falling in 3,4 and 5 including the double bows. 4 is my favourite, the core looks quite strong, I'm sure a rumble of thunder was expected from that one. I read reports of thunder being heard across Britain that day along with some impressive cbs :)
