A great display of thundersnow took place over Bangor, N. Ireland on Friday evening which I could see from Maghera. One person managed to take this short clip and posted it on youtube.

Wowzers! That's got to be one of the best snowstorms that I've ever seen!

Now why can't we have snowstorms like that here in Oxford??  >:( >:(

Fabulous - guys are talking about it in work today - apparently there's a new wind turbine in Bangor which pulls in the lightning. I saw none of this in Larne only 12 miles away as the crow flies!

Intersting about the wind turbine acting as a lightning attractor  ::)
