Caught this a few days ago,taken from garden. Apologies,  looking at it here, it's hardly worth posting. Ugh. I'll leave it though.

Lovely colors John. I've seen things like that too, looks sort of like a sundog, someone on the forum should know for sure.

That's very much worth posting John, lovely capture indeed, I would agree with Richard that it shows a section of sundog. Nicely taken.

Ok then ,not so bad after all LOl.  There were two  small cirrus but by the time I'd got up from the dinner table and collected the camera and got out there only one was left and this one wasn't quite as vivid as it was at first sight.
