Went for a drive up the east side of the sperrins this afternoon and got a few images of the recent snow the road up to the top of gallion was blocked with drifts feet thick hopefully this weeks rain will wash it all away.

I do indeed Jonathan, I was on Glenshane today near the W side of Slieve Gallion around the same time, cool to know you where up there. Only problem is when the rain arrives over the next two days there could be a serious flooding risk, keep an eye on the rivers. Nice bow and rain/hail shower in the distance  :)

Interesting photos with the roadside drifts and the green, snowless valley's. Great shots Jonathan!

Great shots Jonathan, like no 2 as well, the fields are still pretty brown up there after the harsh winter. It will be a few weeks yet before the poor sheep have any grass to eat!

Looks wild to me-  and that snow is deep. I remember Martin's photos too, that very steep  road drop he was on the edge of. You got lucky with the rainbow too.
