Title: Solar Activity 27 Mar (part 2)
Post by: brianb on March 27, 2010, 10:47:35 pm
(continued from part 1)

There is a new active area, as yet unnumbered, appearing at the east limb. The strange thing about this is that, though the spot is well formed, there appears to be little associated activity in the way of Ha or CaK plage.

Transparency very good (between shower clouds); seeing moderate with considerable boiling at times. Temperature 10C, wind NW force 4 gusting 5, some wind vibration when using the FLT 110.
