Title: Ballyronan Marina At Night
Post by: martinastro on August 25, 2008, 03:18:28 pm
I was back at Ballyronan Marina on the NW shore of Lough Neagh last night. This place is amazing at night, so dark and peaceful. Pity it was overcast because a starlight night would have provided some amazing photo opps. I messed around and took a few images even though there was not much to see over the dark lough. These are all between 15 and 30 second exposures...

These are looking over the lough towards Antrim airport. Car head lights lit the grass up in the 1st one.

The boats moored to the walkways looked very cosy with warm lights glowing inside the cabins with the occasional flicker of a tv.

'Maid Of Antrim' with a long exposure. A nosy driver aimed his headlights straight on me to check me out but he done me a favour by making the boat brighter.

Nice shots, Martin. #1 stands out for me, the sky is looking a bit unreal overthere  :)

I think that's what you get when you take a long exposure photo of scudding clouds (moving fast in the wind).

Some very nice shots there Martin - I've not yet been there at night but it looks interesting!

I like the boat best.

Paul.
