Title: Mars - 08 Mar
Post by: brianb on March 13, 2010, 01:23:33 pm
Last of the catch ups ... this lot came out better than I expected!

Celestron CPC1100, 2x Powermate, Astronomik type 2c colour seperation & Planet Pro 742 filters, Imaging Source DMK21 camera.

The colour balance of the IGB stack is a bit peculiar (usually seems to happen with this combination) but it does show the morning haze very well.

Transparency excellent, seeing very strange - pretty steady but varying between sharp and hopelessly blurred every few seconds. Temp -3C, wind S force 1-2.

Some more cracking images there Brian. You've obviously put the momentary excellent seeing to very good use judging by the amount of sharp surface detail.
