The Twin Peaks pano was different - the Leica 4x zoom on my Lumix FS7 compact did that - an amazing little optic for a 10MP camera that cost £130! Incidentally, following your advice here I stitched these both with Microsoft ICE (free) instead of my usual Serif Panorama Plus 2 (£10). They're both pretty similar though I think I prefer the Microsoft item, not least for the Autocrop function and giving a bit more information.

My wife is heading over to San Francisco in February for a work conference I'm thinking of heading over with her to see the sites she be working and I'll be doing the tours :>)).
