Title: Winter Scenes Post by: paulster78 on January 09, 2010, 02:22:57 am A few shots taken today around my town and 5 miles north at a local beauty spot. I was driving over the bridge and couldnt believe it when I saw the river was froze over.

Even in this prolonged cold spell which is unusual for this country all animals and birds must be finding it really tough.Title: Re: Winter Scenes Post by: martinastro on January 09, 2010, 11:11:54 pm I really feel sorry for the animals too, there's a Donkey and Horse out our road which stand in it 24 hrs a day every day (and night) in an open field. There is nothing to eat and they looked very sorry and miserable. Last night the Donkey was calling as if to say he couldn't stick it anymore, he sounded in pain, I had to warm him up by rubbing his ears which were covered in thick ice and snow...poor thing!
