Title: An Emtpy Snails Home
Post by: jgs001 on March 08, 2009, 12:01:24 am
We had some snails in the fish tank, now replaced after they died. They are called Onion Snails and they keep the tank nice and clean as they eat all the algy. But the shell is quite interesting... All shot with the Raynox DCR250 on the 55-250.

1) The Shell (this was about 1:1)

2) Close up detail (about 2.5:1 if I got the ratio the right way around...)

3) More close up detail

John, I'm only getting caught up now. Those are very intresting shots. I like the first one but the last creeps me out a bit lol. Great photography though, you are a very good observer of nature!
